Forest Park Footbridge

My role in the project was fluid, but I was consistently involved from schematic design through fabrication and installation.

• Schematic design of the bridge and its above-structure railing
• Spearheaded the design and shop drawings of the framing structure and of the jig for welding each bridge module
• Worked with the city and a local structural engineer to move from schematic approval straight into shop drawings, material testing, and mockups
• Core member of the group that welded and assembled all six bridge modules and the structural frame
